More than a photo with an elephant

Watch a trunk reach for a snack, notice how an elephant uses its ears and listen to the people who care for the herd every day. The visit begins with an introduction and clear guidance on how to behave around these large animals.

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya offers an experience without riding or circus performances. The focus is on meeting the elephants, understanding their behaviour and joining suitable care activities under the team’s direction.

Feeding and getting acquainted

Offer food with the guide’s help and learn about the elephants you meet. There is time to observe their habits and enjoy the encounter, rather than treating every moment as a posed photograph.

Mud spa and bathing

Be ready to get muddy and wet. Guests can help with a mud treatment and washing the elephants in the bathing area, following the caretakers’ instructions. Activities can change with conditions at the sanctuary and the animals’ needs.

A different kind of souvenir

The eco-paper workshop shows how plant fibres from elephant dung can be reused. It is a memorable introduction to recycling, followed by Thai food and seasonal fruit before the return journey.
